Liquid dyes and molten wax combine.
Form swirls into being.
Dancers take flight.
Past projects with wax creations showed me how currents and shadows course through melted paraffin. What if I could capture moments among those changes? What if I could coax reality's reflection from the abstract swirls? These macro-photographic images come from the short-lived instants when I injected dye into liquified paraffin swirls and swished it into dancer-like shapes.
Original photographs are available for individual purchase and can also be displayed together as an exhibition. Each image is available as a unique archival pigmented ink and paraffin wax print on bamboo paper. Please inquire for size, edition and pricing information.
