Math, science and many things manmade spring from our fascination with nature's patterns. This ever-evolving series indulges and explores that obsession. Light, shadow and reflection distill new harmonies from line, shape, tone and space.
Experimentation with new advances in printing brought each of the images in this series to a unique place. B&W prints are made using a digital silver gelatin process that exposes traditional photographic paper with a laser before it is run through chemical developers. Color images find themselves best brought to life using an interpretive process where pigmented inks are applied directly to heavyweight European cotton rag paper to lend them a velvet-like quality.
Original photographs are available for individual purchase and can also be displayed together as an exhibition. All images are available in two sizes:
11" x 14" prints, either archival pigment inks printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag (308g) or archival digital silver gelatin on Ilford Galerie fibre baryta (315g), offered in a limited edition of 25, signed and numbered on recto. Prices start at $400.
24" x 36" prints, either archival pigment inks printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag (308g) or archival digital silver gelatin on Ilford Galerie fibre baryta (315g), offered in a limited edition of 10, signed and numbered on recto. Prices start at $1250.
